Composer
I’m a composer and pianist thriving in collaborative music-making and challenging the separate roles of composer and interpreter / improvisation and composition, by applying wildly different composing and workshopping techniques in my work. As a kid, my tase and activities was shaped by classical piano playing and being a drummer and songwriter in bands.
Since then, my music has been performed internationally at highly regarded festivals and events, such as November Music, TROMP Percussion Eindhoven, Avanti! Chamber Orchestra Summer festival, Gaudeamus festival, and Kitara Nova festival.
I obtained my BMus in Composition with the support of Mosco Carner scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2018, and Master of Music in Composition at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag in 2021.
Performer
I enjoy performing both classical repertoire and contemporary music. Duo with Tilen Lebar combines classical piano and saxophone repertoire with newly composed counterparts. The new music ensemble Spaceship is solely dedicated to performing the latest music by the brightest young and emerging composers worldwide. This ensemble is unique in many ways. Built around keyboard and plucked string instruments, the sound of the ensemble is at the same time electrifying, transcendental, and wonderfully sensitive.
I have worked as an accompanist for numerous ballet and modern companies and schools. Currently I’m working with the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, Amsterdam Academy of Theatre and Dance, De Stilte, and DDDDD
I have the privilege of enjoying an expanding variety of creative collaborators and will do my best to write and update about upcoming projects here and on my social media channels.
