I’m a Finnish composer and pianist
thriving in diverse musical practices.
Based in Den Haag, NL
As a composer, I enjoy challenging the separate roles of
composer and interpreter / improvisation and composition,
by applying wildly mutable composing and
workshopping methods in my work.
My music is performed internationally at highly regarded festivals and events
such as November Music, TROMP Percussion Eindhoven,
Gaudeamus Festival,
Avanti! Chamber Orchestra Summer Festival,
and Kitara Nova Festival.
I focus on current musical and social phenomenons
and embrace a view of an ‘outsider’
to whichever musical world I choose to enter.
The desire to dive into new experiences and mediums
drives my output as a composer; boundaries between concert music,
music for stage, and experimental music are for me a soluble playground.
As a pianist, I specialise in contemporary and classical chamber music,
classical and contemporary improvisation, and ballet music.
I completed my
BMus in Composition
with the support of
Mosco Carner Scholarship
at the Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2018,
and Master of Music in Composition at the
Koninklijk Conservatorium
in Den Haag in 2021.
